Welcome to 4th grade!
My name is Lauren Farrow and I am very excited to be on the fourth grade team again this year. I grew up in Syracuse, NY and graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a degree in childhood education. I moved to Virginia in 2006 and received my master’s degree in education through George Mason University. This will be my ninth year teaching. Before I came to Loudoun, I taught for seven years in Arlington County. Six of those years were in 4th grade!
I currently live in Brambleton with my husband, Jason, our son, Camden, and our two dogs, Jack and Sam. I love to watch football and college basketball-Go SU! I also enjoy reading and spending time at Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport, Maine.
I love to have fun in the classroom and work hard to make sure that my students are having fun while they learn. Fourth grade is the "year of independence" and we will work together to make sure that the students become more independent and responsible learners as the year progresses.
I am looking forward to a great 4th grade year!
