I graduated from Radford University in VA with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I am honored to be returning for my fourth year at the BeST school. A few of my hobbies that I enjoy in my spare time are playing and watching sports, traveling, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends. As this school year begins, I am looking forward to another amazing year in second grade and at Belmont Station.

I grew up in Maryland and received my Bachelor's from the University of Maryland. I have taught fourth, second, kindergarten, and preschool. I completed my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Old Dominion University. I live in Ashburn with my husband. I have three grown children and one grandson. This will be my seventh year at Belmont Station, and I’m very happy to be part of this wonderful second grade team.

I am grateful to be teaching second grade at Belmont Station. After graduating from Virginia Tech, I taught for several years in Fairfax and Loudoun County. I had the privilege of opening Sanders Corner Elementary. My career took a detour while I stayed home to raise my children. During that time I began various reading programs involving local children. Today I'm a long time resident of Belmont Greene. I am married to my highschool sweetheart from Oakton High and together we have four fabulous children: Hannah, Abby, Mary Kate and Cole. In my not so spare time, I love to catch up with friends, read, exercise, bike with my family, and cook. I'm thrilled to nurture my passion of teaching children.
This is my 9th year teaching 2nd grade in Loudoun County, and I am very excited to start my fourth year here at Belmont Station. I graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Minor in Reading. I also have my Master's Degree in Special Education. I believe that each student is a unique individual with specific strengths and talents. It is my goal as a teacher to identify and foster those strengths while at the same time encouraging a love for learning. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, creating art and traveling to new places.
I am thrilled to be joining the second grade team at Belmont Station this year. I am originally from western Maryland and have a Bachelors degree from Towson State University and a Masters degree from George Mason University. I am currently working on my Masters in Special Education at Shenandoah University. My husband, our three children (Tyler, Nicole, and Jackie) and I reside in Ashburn. We love to hike, and snow ski in Timberline, WV.
