pen BRMS Literacy Magazine
is here!

With the 2015-2016 school year officially ended, we have a few thoughts and final summer messages for you.

  • Report cards are mailed June 20th for all students.
  • Administrative staff is available all summer. Beginning June 20th, our summer hours are 8:30 – 3:30 p.m. If you need to speak with a specific administrator, please email ahead of time to ensure that he/she is in the building as admin staff also take vacation time during the summer.
  • Our Literacy club created our annual Literary and Art magazine. It’s outstanding, and it supports our school-wide writing theme.  Enjoy students work at the following link: Bulldog Pride .
  • Please drive down the Kiss & Ride to see the amazing art work on the school, a re-creation of the graffiti on the Berlin Wall. Our 7th grade students participated in Decades Day, a day of interactive learning aligned with History 7 curriculum. At the “wall”, students collaboratively planned a drawing then made their sketch come to life!  We think it looks awesome – see it before the rain washes it away!
  • Mark your calendar! The 2016-17 school year begins Monday, August 29th.
    • Rising 7th/8th schedules will be mailed on August 24th.
    • Rising 6th grade schedules will be available during our 6th Grade Back to School event on August 25th from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.

Thank you to all parents for supporting Blue Ridge Middle and our PTO.  We had an awesome year! We wish our rising 9th graders the very best as they move to Loudoun Valley High School – we miss them already! Have a safe, relaxing summer.

Kind Regards,

Brion Bell, Principal
