Lunsford strives to prepare its students to attend our middle school and to be ready to advance to high school.
Rising 6th grade parents and students are beginning to think about the transition to middle school.

School Tour
Students will be able to tour our school with their 5th grade class from elementary school on May 28, 2013.
Lions Leap Summer Program: Registration opens April 5, 2013 and will close June 4, 2013. Space is limited so registrations will be taken on a first come first serve basis. Elementary schools will send home information closer to the registration dates. The dates for the sessions are:August 5-9 either 8:00-11:30am OR 12:30-4:00pm
or
August 12-16 either 8:-11:30am OR 12:30-4:00pm
Cost is $125 per student. This program will cover study skills, organization, computer skills, team building, practicing with locker, practice following a schedule, getting acquainted with some teachers and the building layout, and much more! Snack will be provided each day, and on the last day, there will be a pizza party at the end of each session.
