Don't forget BoxTops for Summer!

Let’s Show Our Meadowland Spirit!

Summer is here and vacation is going to be fun!  It’s time to relax, read some good books and collect more Box Tops for Meadowland.  To make it even better, we are going to have a contest to see which class can gather the most Box Tops.

Our school earns 10 cents for every valid Box Top we submit, so here is a collection sheet for the summer.  Please clip and save as many Box Tops as you can.  If you need more than one sheet, feel free to dowload this sheet and keep collecting!  You can also bring them to school in a baggie.  All students should bring in their Box Tops to their new teachers during the first week of school in August.  The classroom with the most Box Tops collected, wins $100 of Scholastic Bucks to spend on books for the class library.

Have a good vacation!

What is the PTO?
The PTO is a group of parents and Meadowland teachers that come together to find ways of improving the educational experience for our children.  The PTO hosts several events to unite students, parents, and teachers outside of the classroom so we can better know each other and have fun too! PTO fundraisers sponsor  improvements to the school (such as technology, the running track, etc), helping teachers with their needs, and more.  We are an all-volunteer group that works because of parents like you that donate a few hours every month or two to help our kids, their peers, and their teachers.

How can I help?
You can save up BoxTops to send in, attend fundraisers, and volunteer.
You can sign up to volunteer at the Back-to-School night, at any PTO meeting, or by emailing the PTO President, Vice president, or secretary at the emails addresses listed on this site. PTO can use volunteers to help look for grants, coordinate a fundraiser, help at an event, or even staple together papers for the teachers.  Please email any of the PTO officers if you would like to help and want to know what opportunities there are.  The more help, the less we each need to do individually.
