Welcome to the 2016-17 School Year!
The PTO is a group of parents and Meadowland staff that come together to find ways of improving the educational experience for our children. The PTO hosts several events to unite students, parents, teachers, and the community outside of the classroom so we can better know each other and have fun too! PTO fundraisers sponsor improvements to the school (such as technology, the running track, etc), helping teachers with their needs, and more. We are an all-volunteer group that works because of parents like you that donate a few hours every month to help our kids, their peers, and their teachers.
How can I help?
There are many ways you can help. You can sign up to volunteer at the Back-to-School night, at any PTO meeting, or by emailing the PTO officers. The PTO can use volunteers to help look for grants, coordinate a fundraiser, help at an event, or even staple together papers for the teachers. Prefer to help behind the scenes? You can save up BoxTops to send in, attend fundraisers, and attend meetings. Please email the PTO officers if you would like to help and want to know what opportunities there are. We love our volunteers and thank you for being a part of the Meadowland Elementary family.
Let’s Show Our Meadowland Spirit! Our school earns 10 cents for every valid Box Top we submit, so here is a collection sheet. Please clip and save as many Box Tops as you can. If you need more than one sheet, feel free to download this sheet and keep collecting! You can also bring them to school in a baggie.
Have a good school year!
