Since 2003, Guidance counselors have used a web-based program, "Counselor's Office," to manage the college application process and advise students about college selection. In 2005, LCPS provided each student and family with their own web site, "Family Connections," which provides a link to much of the college information in the "Counselor's Office." "Family Connections" also allows students to email their guidance counselors and to access many important tools which are useful to high school students, including career and college searches, links to informative web sites, including The College Board, and access to surveys and forms required by the Guidance Office. Seniors should use the site to view and sign up for college representative visits.
