Poetry Masters

   Poetry Masters is a wonderful program.  It is one of two enrichment programs at Round Hill Elementary. This optional program allows our students to strengthen their memory skills and be exposed to a variety of poetry.

 

   Each month Poetry Masters involves students learning at least one poem and a second poem if desired. There are two levels of poems (A & B).  The poems must be RECITED PERFECTLY to receive credit/pointds.  Partial credit will not be given at any level. 

 
 Monthy (dates announced  in the newsletter and on the school's website), Mrs. McManus and Mrs. O’Hara will listen to each child who is prepared to recite the poem.  
 October Poems  (poems recited on Oct. 11 & 30)
November Poems (poems recited on Nov. 15 & 29)
December Poems (poems recited on Dec. 13 & 20)
January Poem (Poems recited on January 10 & 24)
February Poems (poems recited on Feb. 7 & 21)
March Poems (poems recited on March 7 & 21)
