Team Mathias fundraiser, LACE UP SIMPSON! will be Wednesday - April 30 and Thursday - May 1.  Help us score the winning goal against childhood cancer by purchasing GOLD SHOELACES at $5 a pair (50% will go to Mathias Giordano, and the other 50% will go to Children’s National Hospital & Pediatric Cancer Research).  Laces will be on sale during all lunches, or you can order via email:  go4thegoalnva@gmail.com.

April 11, 2014    Have a safe and fun spring break

-       Attention all 6th grade students!  Please go to your History teachers today and pick up your colonial signs, so you can take them home.

-       FYI…The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History’s exhibit, “The National Fossil Hall” will be open through April 27, but will close for renovation through 2019!  Exhibit includes Dinosaurs, Life in the Ancient Seas, Fossil Mammals and fossil Plants.  Take advantage of spring break and take your family and friends!

-       AVID students please plan your interview outfit and get the parent letter signed by Tuesday.  You resume is also due!  We are excited about our speed-interviewing event on Thursday!!

-       Simpson, Let’s Light It Up Blue and celebrate World Autism Awareness Day by WEARING BLUE on April 2!  All month of April, we will continue to celebrate Autism Awareness by selling pins in the cafeteria, during all lunch shifts.  Please show your support by purchasing one for a $1.00.
