WRC-TV’s Goff Pronouncer for Horizon Spelling Bee

Goff wrote on her blog site that the event was a little nerve-wracking.

“I had to look up some of the words on the list… seriously! In news you get so used to writing with short, tight words. We call it being ‘conversational.’ It was cool to exercise my brain a bit more and even learn some new things.

“The kids were great… We went 10 rounds before we had a winner! It was very cool to have students and parents in the audience – so supportive!”
